"For last year's words belong to last year's language. And next year's words await another voice. And to make an end is to make a beginning." - T.S. Eliot

Why the name Twilight Moondance? Once in a blue moon there is one on New Year's Eve. Revelers ringing in 2010 will be treated to a so-called blue moon. According to popular definition, a blue moon is the second full moon in a month. But don't expect it to be blue -- the name has nothing to do with the color of our closest celestial neighbor. A full moon occurred on Dec. 2. It appeared again on Thursday in time for the New Year's countdown.
The Countdown begins...
The New Year 2010 was welcomed with pomp in the attendence of aerial fireworks and high voltage music. This was a moment that one must not miss- people were thanking the almighty for the wonderful year 2009 that left its imprints in times' sand and in the hearts of many and some started greeting their loved ones and family members; Moondance Twilight Party 2010 at The Cascia Tile Factory was a huge success.
Speaking to Mangalorean.com one of the participant said "Welcoming the New Year can be an exciting time, filled with high anticipation and expectations for the months to come. Whether you slide into a New Year easily or go kicking and screaming, you'll get some good advice for your life and your home".
New Year's Eve is one of the busiest nights of the year, with large crowds . Planning ahead is key to a enjoyable and successful night out. It is all about fun and celebration and we all want to have a great time.
Mangalore is one of the best places to be on New Year's Eve, with pubs and restaurants, bars and clubs open well into the night rights across the city. Most pubs and clubs are ticketed, offering music, food and later opening hours whilst theatres, night clubs and other venues often features special guest to welcome in the New Year.
There are also countless house parties all across the city and many people choose to bring in the New Year at home, with family and friends.
However, not all people throughout the globe celebrate the year 2010. Jews are set to greet the year 5771, Chinese - 4708, Hindu - 2067 and Muslims - 1432

  1. We had the best new year eve party nyc last year and everyone had a great time. The good part about it was that all the proceeds were going to a charity for underprivileged children.
